that I haven't listened to any 90s Dead for about 2 months...it hasn't been intentional, I 've been basically doing alot of 70s and early 80s shows (and maybe 2 CH 60s recommendations)...maybe I'll spin a good Standing on the Moon...

'90-'91 make it my player when I'm going through the occasional late 80s phase, but I must confess I probably own less than 20 shows '92-'95 and rarely listen to any of them- maybe 3 to 5 times a year. Everyone is different, and to me '91 was the real last gasp.

the last gasp for me was fall of 1993...those Autzen shows were great and Garcia really ripped...the 09-22-1993 show with David Murray is stellar...

Yeah, the OJ shows(as I called them) in Eugene. It was Maggy's birthday and we raged. Good times.

Speaking of Greensboro (I grew up there), 4/01/1991 is a hell of a show. Is this the last great Dark Star?

Your screen name is a bald-faced lie if you haven't heard 3/29/90.

First off, he's a baby. So, cut him some slack. Secondly, it's(his screen name) a song referrence.

OK G&K, you can handle it from here....:)

I need a punctuation mark that denotes sarcasm.

G&K- 3/29/90 is an outstanding show- first time Branford Marsalis sat in with the boys. You can download it at GDlive.com. The second set in particular is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music from the band, and I never saw them in person.

Sorry if I came off badly on the first try.

Hey Strat - Give 6.23.90 a listen. Great show in my opinion. I have a copy of this if you are interested.

Yeah, I go through stages and listen to one era for a while, then need to resurface and take in some new music or another era.

3/28/90 is in the car as we speak. Good set list, good performance. Worth a listen for sure.

The MSG run when Hornsby first joined in Sept 1990 is pretty amazing seeing as though you had 2 keyboard players who'd been with the band for only days. Pretty adventureous stuff in the second sets of those gigs.
